Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo from the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton with the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk had a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk is famous for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the series. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV for 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
